Photography is Poetry

My name is Alan, and I have been a professional photographer since 1998. My love for photography began at very early age. I was rarely without a camera in my hands.Even then, I felt drawn to the idea of stopping time, capturing a moment as it unfolded, and keeping it close so it could be lived with and remembered.

Born in Guernsey, my surroundings played a big part in shaping how I see light, atmosphere, and everyday beauty.Photography isn't just what I do, its my passion.

It allows me to tell stories, preserve memories, and create images that feel meaningful and lasting photographs made to be treasured in the home for years to come.

This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?

That’s completely okay — most couples feel the same way. You don’t need to know how to pose or act in front of the camera. I’ll guide you throughout the session and keep everything relaxed and natural. Just be yourselves, enjoy the moment, and trust the process — I’ll take care of the rest.

Are the travel expenses included in your packages?

Travel within Jersey is included in all packages. For weddings or shoots outside this area, additional travel or accommodation costs may apply. Any extra expenses will always be discussed and confirmed with you in advance — no surprises.

How long does it take to get our photos?

Your edited photos will be delivered within just 2weeks, after your session or wedding. I carefully select and edit each image to ensure the highest quality. You’ll receive your final gallery via a private online link, ready to view, download, and share.

Can you recommend any good locations?

Absolutely. I’m happy to suggest locations based on your style, vision, and the overall feel you’re going for. Whether you prefer something romantic, natural, urban, or intimate, I’ll help you choose a spot that photographs beautifully and suits your story.
